Services We Utilize Daily

Mid Florida Homeless Coalition

 Mid Florida Homeless Coalition — Promoting partnerships that will reduce and prevent homelessness in Citrus, Hernando, Lake and Sumter counties. 


MFHC brings funding into our community in the form of grants that can potentially be utilized to assist someone to get out of homelessness and into housing, as well the prevention of homelessness. Please visit their website for more details.  

Department of Children & Family Services

 MyACCESS (myflfamilies.com) 




Department of Children and Family Services is the agency in which a person can apply to for food stamps, state Medicaid (insurance), and cash assistance (TANF). Please visit their website for more details. 

Citrus County Transit

 Transit Services (citrusbocc.com) 


Citrus County Transit offers several ways to gain access to many areas of Citrus County through both their Blue Line and Orange Line Transit Busses. They offer the opportunity to apply for a discounted rate as well, please visit their website for more details!

Department of Motor Vehicles

 Citrus County - Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (flhsmv.gov) 


We assist our participants with obtaining photo identifications on almost a daily basis. A sanction report can also be obtained from the DMV if someone may need to pay off tickets or fines and needs to identify which ones directly effects their driver's license. Family Resource Center

 Home (ccfrc.org) 


CCFRC provides services to many families and individuals in the Citrus County area. They have multiple programs to assist with both the immediate needs and long-term goals for those needing assistance in our community, including later hours on Thursday evenings to accommodate working families, and a drop in canter to serve those experiencing homelessness with meals, a free clinic on Wednesdays, showers, laundry, etc...

Zero Hour Life Center Recovery

Zero Hour provides a multitude of services, including peer recovery, case management, and disability application assistance. They cover all of Circuit 5 (Citrus, Sumter, Lake, Hernando, and Marion Counties) Please see their website for more details!
